Asking about a commission

The more you can tell us up front, the more useful our first reply is. Helpful things to include:

• What it is — a planter, a cat tree, a shelf, or something you’ve only got a rough idea of.
• Roughly how big — even approximate measurements help.
• Where it’s going to live — indoors, out on a patio, wall-mounted, in a corner. This changes the design and the wood.
• When you’d like it, if there’s a date attached.

Photos of the space are always welcome.

Shipping and pickup

Large pieces are made for the Seattle area. Planters, cat furniture, and anything of that size are pickup or local delivery — they’re too big and too heavy for shipping to make sense, and we’d rather put that money into the piece.

Small goods ship. Cutting boards, wall shelves, and similar things travel well and we’re happy to send them.
